Old Town is the historic heart and vibrant soul of Fort Collin's downtown- a beloved art district blending rich 19th-century character with lively modern life.
Spend your day lakeside—whether you’re paddleboarding, canoeing, or simply relaxing by the water. Horsetooth Reservoir is a bucket-list must-do and the perfect place to soak up Colorado’s outdoor beauty.
New Belgium offers one of our favorite brewery tours and sits in what locals call the “Brewery Block.” In this vibrant area, you’ll also find Breckenridge Brewery, Odell Brewing Company, and the OBC Wine Project. Beyond the great local brews, a rotating lineup of food trucks serves each location daily, making it the perfect spot to eat, drink, and explore Fort Collins’ craft scene.
Not a water person? Explore scenic hiking trails or simply take in the views at Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most beautiful national parks in the country. It’s a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it!
The Poudre River White Water Park is one of our favorite spots for a picnic, a quick dip, or grabbing an inner tube and floating down the river.
Thomas: "I love Buc-ees"
Allison: " I went, had a panic attack, it was fine"
Huge convenience stores – Think supermarket-sized, packed with snacks, drinks, fresh food, and travel essentials.
Famous clean bathrooms – Buc-ee’s is nationally known for spotless, plentiful restrooms (often award-winning).
Food made on site – Fresh BBQ sandwiches, chopped brisket, kolaches, fudge, jerky, candied nuts, and baked goods.
Unique merchandise – Buc-ee’s branded apparel, souvenirs, home goods, and gifts you won’t find elsewhere.
Lots of pumps – Dozens (sometimes over 100) gas pumps, so there’s rarely a wait.
No semi trucks – Buc-ee’s is designed for travelers, families, and road-trippers, not big rigs.
For many people, stopping at Buc-ee’s is a road trip tradition—part snack stop, part souvenir shop, part experience.
